Walt: recognise and understand specific language features

I was able to Understand the meanings of different types of language features e.g. personification, Hyperbole.

Next time I will have more language features and better examples.

Wonder Kindness Acrostic poem

Walt: Use the word 'kindness' to create an acrostic poem about Wonder by R.J. Palacio.

I was able to look on the internet to find new and long words to put in my poem and make nice and long sentences for my acrostic poem.

Next time I will find longer and more amazing words to put in my poem and I will also search for more websites on the internet to put into my poem.

Dances

Reflection:

It was easy because I found lot and lots of websites with heaps of different dance names.  I was able to find lots of dance names from websites and put some of them into my slideshow. 

Ghost Maths

WALT: use a calculator accurately

Reflection:

I was able to use the online calculator to solve the question and be able to get exactly $2000 without using more or less money.

Next time I will give myself a higher budget to make my maths harder and so I can also improve at these kind of activities.

Speeches 2017

WALT: deliberately choose words to create an effect on the audience

Reflection:

I was able to put some persuasive and emotive words and put them in the right spot.
It was easy because I knew about a lot of stuff about my speech
Next time I could put more persuasive and emotive words in my speech and make my speech longer.

Ghost - Making A Prediction

WALT: make a prediction based on the cover and blurb of ghost by Jason Reynolds

Reflection:
It was easy because I did't have to do research, when I was do this. Next time I will make a longer prediction.  I was able to look at the front and back cover to find ideas and clues.
Next time I will make a longer prediction for my predictions

It was easy because I could go on Wikipedia and find information about Usain bolt. Next time I will find more facts for my slide
